Dawson Blues vs Vanier Cheetahs Women D1: Ladies put on a show!
The Lady Blues had a statement win against their rival Vanier Cheetahs in a blowout, 71-35. Roxane Makolo had a game-high 17 points and added 5 rebounds and 3 steals. It was sheer dominance on both sides of the court from Dawson. They scored 41 points at the half, and held their opponents to just 6 points. The Cheetahs could barely hit a shot as they were only 2-25 from the field. They picked up the intensity in the second half, behind Salanon burst of three's (11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists), but the deficit was too big for them to overcome. The Lady Blues imposed their will throughout the game on the defensive end and racked up an amazing 18 steals. Roxane Makolo's 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals lead the way along with Océane Kounkou's 12 points.
